Lennie's whole life and career had been based on the ability to communicate with
people. Over the past several years that ability has gradually diminished due to
his inability to hear. The frustration and embarrassment that he was feeling was
mounting every day.
It had gotten so bad that he no longer wanted to take part in even something as
simple as going out to dinner, or running an errand, for fear he would not be able
to communicate with those around him.
All the hearing aids he had tried always seemed to end up in the drawer, as they
did not seem to help the problem. He said he was ready to just give up on life.
But since being fitted with the wonderful new technology invented by your labs,
he has a whole new life. Lennie can't wait to put his aids in when he wakes up and
then he says, "the world turns on for me." It truly is a miracle and we cannot thank
you enough for giving us back our lives to enjoy.
